Experiences

Anyone who has had a long life of experiences is worth listening to, worth emulating, and worth trying to as a friend. We eagerly welcome those who talk with the voice of experience and common sense, for they can point out the pitfalls and mistakes that have taught them to avoid. Its in our betterment that we learn from the experiences of others, for it acts as a coat of life and never wears out.

Friendship

  • Friendship lifts the heart just as sunshine turns the flowers skyward.
  • Good friends never lose sight of each others interests and always give each other room to grow.
  • A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be.
  • It is wise to apply the oil of refined politeness to the mechanism of friendship.
  • The most beautiful discovery true soulmates make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.

Some More!

  • The art of being a good guest is to know when to leave.
  • Do not say all that you know, but always know what you say.
  • The best feelings are those that have no words to describe them.
  • Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.
  • Better pass a danger once than be always in fear.

Footprints.....

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that once i decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I dont understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.

The Lord replied: "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you in my arms close to my heart!"
